Wild Fire is a para-church ministry based in the Big Bend Region of West Texas. Our mission is to train up leaders, committed to Jesus Christ, who exemplify spiritual maturity through prayer, devotion to family, moral purity, compassion and evangelism with a vision to transform the country in which they reside.
One way that Wild Fire has sought to bless and make an impact on the local communities is by providing services to area churches, schools, businesses and individuals, including crisis counseling and intervention, personal discipleship and mentoring, community event outreach, monthly Nights of Worship, Christian Speakers and Concerts, and Mission Trips.
God’s glory is displayed through His creation and His power through the Holy Spirit. By living the gospel of the Kingdom, the lost are reached, the hurting receive healing, and believers are discipled to a higher level of His grace.
The vision God has given Wild Fire is to operate the ministry on a working cattle ranch in the beautiful foothills of the Davis Mountains. The ranch will offer a serene place for individuals to become unplugged from the noise and tyranny of the urgent, to hear the quietness of God’s spoken word to each man and woman. As we turn to the Lord, He will satisfy our hearts and meet the deepest needs in our lives.
The ranch will offer a program for High School age students in need of a life change and breakthrough. While continuing their High School education, students participating in spring and fall terms will experience individual character development, gaining Godly perspectives in areas of relationship, communication, conflict resolution, and self discipline. Intense biblically based courses, solid teaching and passionate worship services will be integrated into the every day ranch life to raise up a generation who walk in power and truth as ambassadors of Jesus Christ.
